Replying to your own thread with no replies
It would be nice if replying to your own thread would update the original post, providing that there are no other replies.
It appends the body. Like:
Original post: Hello!
Second post: How are you?
Final result:
Hello!
"---"
How are you?
Ah gotcha. I think that might be a little confusing. For me, I'd just expect a reply to be appended. There's always the option to edit the original post :)
The reason for the suggestion is that it is really buggy on mobile. Android Firefox. The panel constantly jaggers, the text sometimes goes invisible, and the keyboard overlay sometimes covers the text. I find the full screen option helps to some extent.
Update: Sadly I think the issues are more related to Firefox on Android. There was a whole article about display block elements. The home page issues I reported are also really bad. Probably also related to the same issue. I'll try to find the article for you. Nothing against you, the code, or the design.
